What of I?

Soul intact
Heart still beating
My feet pound down this corridor
Where oft we walked so long before
Promise kept
Severed apart
The cords that bound a final plea
My hands still shake in agony
Life intact
So cold inside
I cannot stop the shattered cry
He knows you dead, but what of I?
